BREAK MY DAILY ROUTINE

Woohoooo, it's been a very while im not updating, over a month after the last post!! Really I didn't intend to abandon this blog, but what should I say? Time seemed too tight for me. Even now I didn't have any kind of activities that made me busy. For me, the 'busy' word depends with who you're talking to. Has anyone agree with me? Hehee you know, everything I did was just made effin' assignments, jumping mall to malls for movie theater with peter, literally ANYTHING to kill the time. The thing is, I've been through the mid term test (horraaayyyy) and after the test already been done, I got time now. Just sit in front of the computer and type type type ehehehe. All i wanna do is just to break my daily routine, in a good way of course.

Today is Sunday. Nothing special, except there will be my fave cartoon of mine, Inu Yasha for an hour and a half at Global TV hehehe. but today is Sunday at the fourth week of March. Yeah, time for "CAR FREE DAY" everyone!! I really wanted this event could be my sweet escape for the following months ahead, yes a way to break my routine from being super lazy at Sunday. Unfortunately I couldnt make it this time cause I'm afraid I'll be sooo damn tired if this noon (I hope the weather will be friendly), I can really go to Sentul City to see the first time hot air balloon in indonesia!! *crossing finger*

Allow me to tell you my very first experience for bike time at the main street of Jakarta when the previous car free day at 28 february. Me and Peter attempted to do some exercise that can get us sweaty for the sake of our healthy (I love these words hahaa) and another good reason was for hunting photos causes I wanted to send some for photo competition if the result were great enough. We had accompany for the tour, Sony and Steven. So I was riding on my city bike, from Radio Dalam through Sudirman and Thamrin. Peter and his friend Sony used skateboard for the ride, and Peter's lil bro, Steven, took bike same like me. Peter often held on my bike to sliding off the road, so did sony to steven's. Hard for them I guess, skateboard is a non-friendly vehicle for the pavement streets. It's a not so smooth for them to be through and Steven complained about the wheels he got, not so big enough cause it's a seli (speda lipat). luckily, my ring wheels' bike are big enough. hihii

Radio dalam till senayan already made me dizzy cause I just had small portion for cereal in the morning. But after I took an amount of water and we got relaxed awhile, I could still make it, through Sudirman and reaching Monas sounds interesting at that time (couldn't make it though). We finally reached 'Welcoming Statue' in Thamrin. And the street was so crowded with various people. Check out my photos to see.

I was left behind by the three musketeers since I took pictures and then the guy from JAK-TV came right to me. He said he wanted to interview people who took city bike at car free day. It was pretty rare someone using this kind of type. So I've been asked about city bike, like; what's the benefit, why am I using that thing, etc. I simply said straight answer cause I need to hurry to find the others. After said apology to the guy, I left. I thought my part at the interview will be deleted for sure. But a friend of mine said she saw me about two weeks after that on the channel and there's no such thing like cutting my stupid part :(

you could see so many stands when car free day

After that, I found the others and we continued our journey until the crossroad after Sarinah and decided to back where it started, go home. we saw many interesting things at our way home.

We were very very tired. My legs felt like it could loose from the place where it used to be hahaaa. We rested a few time and i really wanted to eat. Mcd Senayan had been choose for the rest and eat area. It's the right place for cooling off, the air conditioner and the food calmed me. I decided to go home soon after finishing the meals and peter accompanied me too to Radio Dalam. The rest would be waiting in Mcd so Peter could pick them up after taking the car which putted around my neighbors. I went home again by my own feet for operating the pedal bike. all I can say was ~~hhaaaahhhh~~ after seeing my house front door.

The round trip with bike was like a self fulfillment, such a relief to me. I knew i still can ride even I already been exhausted and after all, I succeed on it!! At that time, I just had high motivation at myself. That's the best part I think. It was nice to have that kind of feeling since Im not used to have it for doing something (too bad for me) oh not to forget, this is the very first time in 2010 i could sweat so many. And the worst part of it was about my skin that looked three level darker than before!! i really dont like that. i forgot to wear sunscreen. how foolish i am.

So I'm very interested about what you will do to break your daily routine. It's a nice way thing to do if you get bored, needed sweet escape, find some inspirations, or maybe just not being you for a moment. im eager to know it. for me now, riding bike is on my break the routine list hihiih :)
